On which days does the tour operate?

Our night tours operate daily from Stop #1 (Big Bus Tours Visitors' Center). Please arrive 20 - 30 minutes before your preferred tour as seats are subject to availability. Please note that the Night Tour does not operate on the 4th of July, Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve.

What is the child ticketing policy?

A child ticket is available for children aged between 3 and 12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 2 years and under may travel free of charge. Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. Strollers and pushchairs must be folded and stowed on the lower deck.

Do I need to specify a date of travel?

Yes, select your start date when booking. If using a multi-day ticket, travel on consecutive days.

What is the food and drink policy?

No food or alcohol is permitted on board the bus. Non-alcoholic drinks in screw-top bottles are permitted.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

Yes, most Big Bus vehicles in San Francisco are wheelchair accessible on the lower deck and can accommodate up to 650 pounds. Please note, the upper deck is not accessible to wheelchair users, and not all attractions along the route guarantee accessibility.

How do I request a refund?

Is this a hop-on, hop-off tour?

No, the Sunset Tour is a continuous panoramic ride without stops.

How do I return after the tour?

A courtesy shuttle will return guests to Union Square (Stop #1) after the tour ends.

Is the commentary multilingual?

No, Sunset Tour commentary is only available in English.

What time does the tour start?

The Sunset Tour departs at 6:00 PM from Stop #1 (Big Bus Visitors’ Center). Please arrive 20–30 minutes early to secure your seat.
